Literacy
3rd October 2024 was National Poetry Day. Primary 6 wrote some great poems about the Future. Here are a few.
IThe Future is Everyone
I think the schools are going to be futuristic. And we will not have teachers teaching us We will have robots cleaning up after us We won’t take the bus anymore We will go places in big glass tubes
You might not be able to be a pilot anymore Because there will be a simulator We will go places further than the zoo We will go to Alaska
Who knows what the Future will be I just hope it’s a world where there will be no more bullying So I guess we will need to learn to be respectful, kind and friendly so that our future world will be better than the one right now. |
Into the Future
We will never know what will await for us whether we want to work in Tescos or not, or maybe some of us will be pilots, builders or electricians We will never know but maybe someone else will play that part There might even be robo dogs and robo cats and empty cars that are driving themselves We will never know but what we do know is it will never be the same world But it would be cool if a robot person served you your KFC or bought you a PS5 or tidied your room for you or went to school for you I could go on forever But on the bright side, I like the way the world is now. I know things are just going to get better. |
