Welcome to our school website! As you navigate your way through this site I hope that your overwhelming impression is that we are a nurturing school. I hope you see a school that offers your child opportunities to learn and to achieve – a school that develops and enriches your child through their daily experiences.
Most especially we are an Integrated school and in this environment, we talk about who we are and what we believe – we respect our own and others' cultures and backgrounds and take on the challenges that living in Northern Ireland continues to present.
We are a Forest school and develop the curriculum through outdoor learning. We are proud of this and of our Eco School Status. We aim to help each child fulfil their potential and aspire to give them skills to be wonderful citizens of the future. I invite you to come and visit and see for yourself and look forward to meeting you in the near future!

Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported put International Food Fair on Friday. I would particularly like to thank those parents and carers who made food for the event.
At Hazelwood we believe that the future of the world is in every classroom, and on Friday we had the world in our Food Fair!
School will be closing tomorrow (Tuesday 15th April) at 12pm. Both the Belfast and Glengormley Buses will be leaving at this time.
Tomorrow is a non uniform day.
School will start back on Monday 28th April at 9am
I wish all our families a very Happy Easter and hope you all have a terrific Easter break!

Yukee live (Cbeebies)
Dear Parent/Carer,
We are delighted to have Yukee live (Cbeebies) come and perform to the children from Nursery to P3 on Wednesday 9th April. At the end of the event the team are wanting to take pictures to promote the live show. Please bring back the forms you receive on Monday to let us know if your child has permission to be in the pictures.

Dear parent/guardian,
To celebrate the end of Integrated Month 2025 we will be hosting a cultural food fair. The pupils have been working hard to learn about culture and celebrate the different cultures that make our school and community. So come along and try some of the delicious food prepared by the pupils. Hope to see you then.
